Today is my first day without lamicital in 12 years! (I've been tapering down with doctor's approval)
It's been a tough transition- never know when depression and anxiety will smack me in the face... I had gotten used to being leveled out.
Anyway- this has happened because my husband and I are wanting to start our family!
I've been anxious today but I *might* be preggo so I keep saying "I won't take xanax for you, maybe-baby" and that makes me smile and hopeful and I've made it through today so far.
I'm nervous how I'll handle my moods and SI urges when I'm pregnant. I'm worried about my anorexic history, too. I started therapy again before I started weaning off meds- he's focusing a lot on DBT skills- but I'm not quite a fan of it yet. I'm still trying.
So to the moms out there- how was it? How'd you do it? How'd you cope and find support? So far my constant thought is "It's temporary and it's worth it"

If the pregnancy went through to fruition, I hope it went well. Happy birthday-soon, maybe baby!

Thanks! No baby that month- but eventually! I'm nearing the halfway mark of this pregnancy!
