i feel like that girl has seen and been through some shit. i want to be just like taylor momsen. i want to be able to put my feelings into words, into music.

anyway, back to the song, it's about how nobody saved her when she needed saving. my family has reassured me (in not so nice terms) that they do love me ("that's ridiculous, stop saying that, it's annoying how you say we don't love you. i would have gotten rid of you a long time ago if i didn't") but i just don't feel loved. it's like i'm incapable of it.
i grew up in a very invalidating environment, where feelings were the devil and if you felt something negative you better work it out quick before anybody noticed.
that's why i love this song so much. it's my life.
