Error message when trying to log in

I seem to be unable to log in on any device apart from the one that keeps me logged in. (The phone I'm on now) both my laptop and my main phone come with the same error message. Unfortunately I have no idea how to transfer to error message to a post on my phone to let you see (I have a screen dump) any ideas?

Just wanted to say that I am currently having the same issue. Does the error say you don't have permission to read topics? If not, then I will make a separate thread so as to not thread jack.

This is very weird.

I usually use Chrome as a browser and when I intentionally logged out I entered a futile loop of trying to log in.

When I used Firefox it was all good - I have all of my expected permissions, though I doubt that it is a browser issue.

I will raise this on the admin forum for discussion and hopefully a solution.

Oddly enough I get the same error on my tablet. Now I can log on here but I dint have any mod or even member privlidges.

several of the other staff members have the same problem - I can't log in through my computer right now either. we've sent a message to Deb though and we're hoping it will be resolved soon. if you need support, remember there's a bus irc channel. and this might also be a good time to work on your "what to do when bus is down" list!

Glad site's back up! Last year a forum I was on suddenly shut down without warning by the owners who then proceeded to act like tyrants attacking and banning people for sometimes little or no provocation at all. I was a mess for a week until I discovered a NEW forum for the users of the same site. I was afraid it happened again.

If BUS ever did shut down, everyone would be given lots of advance notice, and a list of alternative places to go. You would not be left in the cold
