Re: BBCode, HTML, and you!
I don't think so, the only thing close to tables that I know how to make with BBCode are lists
You can't even make a two column table using spaces because the board condenses them, so you would see it when drafting your post, but when you post it would be all squished together.
Is that what you meant, - something within a post?
Or are you talking about an overall board layout change?
If it's the overall layout change, I don't think that's likely to happen because it's not something that everyone would want, and people are generally fairly settled with how it is now.

Re: BBCode, HTML, and you!
is there a way to link to a thread on this board so that it takes you to the latest post and not the first?

Re: BBCode, HTML, and you!
I am not sure if this helps but you could click on "Subscribe topic" for a thread that you are following but have not contributed to.
Then go to your User Control Panel:
UCP ---> Board preferences ---> Edit posting defaults ---> enable "Notify me upon replies by default:"
That way you will get an e-mail message with a clickable link to the *latest* post in a thread that you are following but have not contributed to every time a new post appears
The same will happen for new posts in threads that you have contributed to.

Re: BBCode, HTML, and you!
On the right hand side in a post, it says "Posted 9 Oct 2013" (or whatever date). Besides that there's a little sheet of paper. If you click that, you'll get the url for the post instead of the whole thread.

Re: BBCode, HTML, and you!
i've got a similar thing for my place link. if you click on a second page of a thread the url includes start=20 which means starting at the 20th post. you can change that number to start on any particular page (type the page number times 20), or you can place a really big number (like 10000) and it will go to the highest page number, so the last page.Jess wrote:is there a way to link to a thread on this board so that it takes you to the latest post and not the first?
if you would like the whole thread to display backwards chronologically you can add &sd=d to the end of the url. so then the first post displayed is actually the latest post and continues back in time. in that case you don't need to have a start number in the url.
