Today, I'm proud of myself because I applied for a job recently.

What are you proud of yourself for doing?

I'm proud of myself for keeping my cool with my ex even though he's been a real dick by sleeping with another girl so soon.

There's no point in acting up and losing him as my best friend, he's like my family. Too much.

I'm proud for just still trooping on despite everything.

I'm proud of myself because I went out for a meal with friends last night, and I ate the entire thing, with a bit of encouragement from some lovely people! :bfly:

All the new job, new responsibility stuff I've been doing recently hasn't caused me anywhere near the amount of anxiety that I thought it would.

And that's cool :)

Today I didn't dissociate or try to rush in and placate when my ex got mad. I didn't close off. I did the best I could do, spent time with our kids, and left with a decent mindset. All the way home I wanted to cut. As soon as I started planning it out in my head, I thought that it was time to spend some time at BUS and use more of the wonderful things I first found here more than a decade ago to get strong again.

I may wander through and disappear for years at a time but when the biological matter hits the fan I know this place helps more than my blades. More fun too! And I'm working with another new T that I can enlighten. The last one I had was fascinated that this place exists. It's unique!

I'm proud of myself today because I took things better than I thought I would. I proud because I didn't cried infront of her, and I almost didn't cry at the bus. I'm proud because I managed to laugh at school and forget about the bad things that happened today. I'm proud of myself because I feel everything will be alright no matter what this ends up to be.

i'm proud of myself today because i'm continuing to go to the support group and i'm keeping in contact with some of the people there. i'm proud of myself for when it makes me anxious and i give myself the permission to be anxious without berating myself, but also without giving in to anxiety and leaving.
