I know ppl have already asked this. But how do I get rid of the hurt and sad I feel if I don't self harm? Just now cutting seems the only answer, but I can't as I have 2 wonderful kids.

I understand.
I also have a child and I for me that seems to make it worse as you have someone that is relying on you.
there's lots of stuff around the boards on coping.

For me I use music, writing, oil/insence burning, going for walks, coming on the net and talking.

This has helped me in the past. You can replace "fear" with almost any negative feeling.

have you tried writing down how you feel? that sometimes helps me. distrafcting yourself from the pain you feel inside is the best way. try reading, exercise, playing with your children or watching a dvd. when you get an urge stop what you are doing and get out of the situation and do something different. it is hard but it is possible
