the other day during science, the girl who sits in front of me wanted to show me a drawing. so she took it out, and it was of a bloody razor blade. I know she doesn't SI, but she's told me about her fascination with it. she doesn't know about my SI either. the picture got me so freaked out and triggered, I started shaking, and that's never happened to me before. She put the picture in the front of her binder, and I see it almost every day, and it always triggers me. I want to ask her if she'd move it, but don't know how, especially without her asking why it bothers me. any suggestions as to how I could ask her without telling her about my SI? thanks.

(sorry about the trigger warnings if you think they're unecessary, I didn't know if it would trigger others as much it did me.)

Hey
I think u probably could just ask her 2 move the picture bc it really freaks me out i dnt think u would have 2 tell her about ur si. Bc a pic like that would prob freak other people out who dnt si 2.

I can definitely understand how it would freak you out....it would have done the same with me. Maybe just nicely ask her if she could move it, because its a little too morbid for your liking, and not something you really want to be looking at all the time. I dont think you'd have to bring up your SI.
Hope it works out

It's definetly something she'd get into trouble for if a teacher saw it, or someone else reported it. I asked her to move it today, and she did, but didn't seem to happy about it. I'm just glad it's not there to bother me anymore. thanks for the replies, they helped alot.DJ_CJ wrote:No one has the right to make you uncomfortable. Try telling her it bothers you. She might ever need to put it away for her own sake. Is it something she might get grief for having?
