What will your 5 things be?

Post by limestone » Mon Aug 16, 2004 10:29 am

:uhhh: If you're going to a tiny island and could take 5 things to help you cope with your emotions what would they be and why are you taking them?

oooh, I'm assuming this is supposed to be coping healthily though eh?

- My computer, assuming this island had high speed internet, and I had all my computer games and my music on it as well
- An infinite supply of white cheddar rice cakes. I know, not too healthy for my ED, but I still love them
- An infinite supply of sugarfree gum (in a variety of flavours of course, ditto for the ED)
- A big, soft, fluffy stuffed animal
- My mountain bike

I know, I cheated , but I had fun with it :D

1. Can I take my therapist? Because that's what I would do.
2. The computer, and the internet - so I could communicate with BUS, and check my email, and have instant messager. What a luxurious island, huh?
3. CD's that I could play on the computer - that's a must. It would keep my occupied as well.
4. A camera, maybe a weird, but it would be a distraction to take pictures while I am there.
5. A fridge, full of good food, that never runs out, so when hunting animals gets boring and we're sick of fruit, we can have food. And you can't cope without a full stomach!

Don't need one, with all those things I am set for a while.

And when I do decide to leave, I've got the internet, and I'll have someone bring the boat out to me.

Good question!! :D

this is for coping with emotions? if so i'm leaving out the usual survival stuff.

- knowledge of when i would leave the island - i would find it easier to cope if there wasn't uncertainty
- rocky, my teddy.
- my cd collection
- O. if i'm allowed to take people, a copy of keats' poems if i'm not
- a lightweight woman's empacher single scull (the water round this island had better be flat and perfect for rowing)

Clothing, well cause nobody wants to see me run around nude
Music, mostly stuf fthat can help me relax
My dog, for company and companionship
Fishing gear, cause without that I dont know what I would do
My computer
we all die alone
I choose to live alone

If I am silent then I am not real. If I speak up then no one will hear. If I wear a mask there's somewhere to hide. If I raise my voice will someone get hurt and if I can't feel then I won't get touched. If no truths are spoken then no lies can hide. -Garbage "Silence is Golden"
