It would be helpful maybe if we had a place where a message was posted when mods or admins leave. Not to say goodbye, just to let us know in the short term who was here and who wasn't?

This seems like a good idea... kinda like the "away" thread on the mod board? (I know, most people reading this haven't seen it, but Friarygirl has so she knows what I mean...)

We are discussing it and the best place to put a thread like that.

I think the best place is the forum in which the mod leaves as essentially, imo, it is those who visit that part of the board who need to know (in general). Otherwise this part of the forum 'administrivia and technical support', since the description is
