It would be helpful maybe if we had a place where a message was posted when mods or admins leave. Not to say goodbye, just to let us know in the short term who was here and who wasn't?

I think the best place is the forum in which the mod leaves as essentially, imo, it is those who visit that part of the board who need to know (in general). Otherwise this part of the forum 'administrivia and technical support', since the description isNobodyToYou wrote:We are discussing it and the best place to put a thread like that.
