My coping list

Post by Becky » Sat Jul 19, 2008 12:26 am

I am trying desperatly to keep myself distracted so I thought I'd make a list of distractions

Paint a picture
Drawing
Colouring
write things down
Make to do lists
Make goals for each week
Have a bath
Read a book
wash your hair
dye your hair
make a cake
watch a dvd
shape your eyebrows
play with your pet
tidy your place
go for a work
go sit outside away from your tools
wash your clothes
play a computer game
design a tattoo
look on the internet for clothes etc
email your friends
phonea friend
'It only hurts to breathe'

'I'm not ok I'm not o fucking k'

'Where do I belong?"

'Lost and broken, hopeless and lonely, smiling on the outside but hurt beneath my skin'

I'm trying to make it seem ok, but my faith is wearing thin

That's a really good list, Becky. You have some of my favorites on there. I really enjoy coloring. I like coloring mandalas and butterflies. If you are interested, I can send you some sites with printable coloring pages. :)

Becky, your ideas ROCK.

I know you've been struggling lately, so writing a list like this - and this long - is fantastic! :star:
there is, in the end, the letting go.
