Ok so I put a post on main the other day asking about how people prepare for triggering situations and got some feedback from people -thankyou to those who replied,
this is my safety plan for tommrow - felt posting it might give me a bit more incentive to stick to it than if I just left it in my head so:
In my bag I'm taking:
A Bag of play doh
Some colouring and pencils for the train journey home
Mp3 player with happy songs on
and
Scribble pad to write and rant on
I'm commiting to making myself cook a simple comfort food meal of something like jacket potatoe with beans cheese and vegi burger when I get in...
I know I can use my emergency box, I have video clips of creature comforts I downloaded today, I have tea and a clean pillow to hug, if I bath when I get in I can curl under my duvet and make a tent
I can plan what i'm going to do when I go home for easter in just over a week away, someplace to go and eat with my best friend, somewhere to go for a night out. And if I need company I can come onto bus,
This thread is my contract with myself :
I will do everything I feel I can in order to avoid breaking my si free stint tommrow,I will remember it's ok to make mistakes,it's ok to not be the best, it's ok to feel ashamed -feelings pass, and I don't NEED to harm anymore
