reactivating old account?

ok, i know i went the wrong way about this to start with....but when i changed my username i just created a new account, and i think one of the mods delete my old account or something?
well anyway, is it possible to have it reactivated and joined together or something? it's just i cant find my old posts and stuff. i don't know if it's possible, sorry to be a pain!
