Small problem with Quidditch

When posting, the text box has a background of fairly dark purple. The text is orange, perfectly visible, but the cursor is black. It's very difficult to see indeed - in fact I often have to type something just to find where the cursor is

It's just annoying, that's all.

On Windows (XP for sure) you can turn on a feature where you can hit Ctrl and it shows you where the cursor is...

It's in Control Panel. Double click "Mouse", "Pointer Options" and then "Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key".

A temporary fix, but a fix none the less I guess.

Windoze, bah humbug. I have a mac.

I did have a look in System Preferences > Keyboard and Mouse but I don't think there's a similar feature. I don't actually mean the mouse pointer, I mean the text insertion point. While hunting I found that one of the Universal Access features "Switch to white on black" does make the thing easier to see, though it's rather alarming
