Does anyone know a program that could let me extract scenes from DVDs (including sound) and let me merge them into one single clip? I'm inspired to make a few clips from one of my favourite TV shows, but don't know what program to use. I could also do with being able to overlay music over the sound of the clips too.....

Any ideas?

No - but I wanted to do the same thing for a class, so I am curious as to how to do this as well....
