I need Help I can't stop SH

Post by Missy Leigh » Tue Dec 19, 2006 10:03 pm

I have been SH for the last eleven years and I want to stop but I can't find a coping skill that takes away the urges and helps me to stop. I don't know what to do :1paw:

Have you tried seeing a therapist to help you figure out how best to cope and see you through the process?

What coping strategies have you tried?
It's not going to happen overnight; it'll take work. But it *can* happen.
Take care.

If I bore you, that is that. If I am clumsy, that may indicate partly the difficulty of my subject, and the seriousness with which I am trying to take what hold I can of it; more certainly, it will indicate my youth, my lack of mastery of my so-called art or craft, my lack perhaps of talent…

I have a therapist ahd her for 8 years. Everythind from running and exercising to journaling and drawing I have tried. but I get to a point where I get bored with these coping skills and so they don't interest me anymore. I don't know why.. I don't know where to go from here???
