posting a link?

how do i post a like to another post made previously?

so if i wanna update people on a story i wrote about days ago how do i post the link up so people can catch up on whats going on?

What I do is...

-go to the post I made

-highlight and copy the address in the address bar

-make a new post

-click the URL tab, paste the copied address, click the URL tab again.

Hang on, after I've posted this I'm going to follow my own instructions to make sure it works!

you don't even have to click the url button if you don't want to, that's just sort of a pain..
if it's got the whole link like
http://www.google.com
it will become a link by itself, I believe
