question about old details and forgotten passwords

Post by one out of none » Mon Jun 07, 2010 11:16 pm

Hi to an admin or otherwise techy person!

I have this account for a while, and the email associated with it is no longer in use, or as far as I can tell, even active. I tried to log back into the old email this evening and it said that the account was invalid.

The thing is, I can't remember my password, because I've basically been constantly logged in since I joined (or near enough), and I can't use password reset because it sends the new password to your email. Also, I can't change to my active email because it requires a password!

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I don't know why, but I just suddenly got the nameless dreadsies about getting logged out for some reason and not being able to get back in again. Sorry for being so awkward!

Thanks for any suggestions and help!

I think that you will have to PM an admin with your old (invalid) e-mail details. He/she will be able to link your BUS account to your active e-mail address.

I know I'm posting late but this is for the benefit of people who might search this at a later date (like me!)....

You can change your email address in your 'user control panel' by going to options ----> profile ----> edit account settings.
