Hello
Is there a way of marking specific posts as "favourites"? There have been a few on here that are really helpful and I'd like to keep an eye on them and read along, without having to post then mark it as "watched".
thanks
Jane

Re: "Favourite" posts
above the post is a link saying "bookmark topic" next to the subscribe link. you can access the bookmarked posts in the user control panel.
i've never used it before, but i would guess that it doesn't notify of new posts like subscribe does? try it out, and see if it does what you want it to.

Re: "Favourite" posts
i just had a little play around. i *think* you can do this and it's no an admin only type power.
when you look at the first post in a topic that you're interested in you should have an option that says 'bookmark topic' if you click onthis it adds to your bookmarks. then if you go to the user control panel and clock on manage bookmarked topics it should bring up a list of the ones that you're interested in.
if it doesn't work shout and i'll have another play around (i think you can also now opt to watch a topic without posting in it in a similar way but i'm not positive)

Being almost devastated is horrible because it lingers. But total devastation brings a kind of peace. It lets you give up.
