If a section has no mods...

Post by strmdncr » Thu May 13, 2010 7:00 am

I have a question. If a particular section say for instance this one has no mods and you have concerns or complaints about something in that section who do you speak to about it?
Also what if the concern or complaint is about a mod?

hello

if a section has no mods, and you have concerns or complaints, you can either click on the red ! at the bottom of the post you are concerned about and report it that way, or you can contact any admin.

if you have a concern or complaint about a mod, then you can contact an admin about this too.

hope that helps

Yes, you can always contact an admin, but it might be worth contacting more than one, because not all of us are always around. Sometimes admins go on vacation, or get overwhelmed with real-life stress, or any other of a million possible reasons, and need to take a bit of a break from BUS.
Usually if you look around the boards a bit, you can figure out who is active at the moment.

If your concern is about a particular post, then reporting the post is a good way to get our attention. Reports can be seen by all admins, and by the mods for the section that the report is in.

When there are no mods listed on a forum, that means that the forum is moderated by the admins, or just kinda by all of us (which is the case with this forum).

All of the admins and the mods work together as a team, and we talk a lot and consult one another, and we always record all of our moderation actions in the mods' forum so that we can all see who's done what :)
