Lately I've been struggling so much with feeling like I don't get anything done. People say it because there aren't any massive gestures of awesomeness coming from me, missing all the little awesome victories on any given day. There were some threads here and in the sourcebook about tasks you can do daily to get yourself out of ruts and feeling low, and I have added to them and made myself a table of tasks. The goal isn't to tick off all of them; you'd have no time to do anything if you did, but to try and get as many as possible at that point in time. Some of them are ways to treat myself well, some are just things that I don't normally remember to do (like eat three meals and drink lots of water), little things that can mean a lot on a bad day. They're weekly tables of what I've achieved, and I've realised that doing this means at the end of the day I can see just how much I've done.
It feels really, really good to end a bad day looking at your achievements.
So in the interests of sharing, here's my list of daily tasks:
Journal
listen to music
set only a few goals- no mammoth 'to do' lists!
quiet me time for 30 minutes
shower
Get dressed properly
go to bed at a regular time
make the bedroom an inviting place to be
moisturise
eat healthy food
three meals
accomplish something, no matter how big or small
do something relaxing
write down your gratitudes
brush your hair
drink plenty of water
sing
smile more
do something artistic
take your vitamins
do something to make your environment more pleasant: burn incense or candles, buy fresh flowers, play soft gentle music
wear something pretty, no matter how big or small (outfit, hairclip etc)
find one thing daily that I like about myself
List five positives from your day
Only say sorry if it's definitely, totally my fault, or to convey sadness that something has happened to someone
meditate
read before bed
do something that makes me feel competent
acknowledge and avoid triggers
write a list of what I'm proud of myself for today
acknowledge and stop picking
talk to at least one other person than SD
No SI
resolve conflicts with mature discussion
leave the house
exercise
I've added a few weekly tasks as well:
file, repaint or trim nails
do a face mask
organise priorities for the coming week: what has to happen, what you'd like to have happen, and what isn't earth shattering if it doesn't happen
exfoliate

Re: Daily Tasks
Hi
This seems like a brillant idea and a really awesome list! I think it's good how you've added some weekly tasks as well as daily tasks.
Good Job! I hope this makes things a bit easier for you!
