I remember seeing a thread a couple of years ago about badges...
I know I'll use them if I get that far :)

Re: Mini BUS badges

Post by microsue » Thu Aug 06, 2009 2:04 am

Hi Dave, :wavey:

I was pointed this way after requesting info re these badges, as I recently reached 3 years si-free (I know--*gasp!*) .

:lgrnstar: I would like to suggest/request badges for all or a subset of the following: 1, 2, 3, etc. years si-free; multiple years si-free; multiple years of recovery (Like NA); or maybe recovering (I don't believe I will ever be "recovered").

:dkpurpstar: A possible swing on this might be coding si-free time by color as well as insignia.

Also, just a comment: I assumed that the badge appearing to be a clock set at 3:00--is it actually 11:45?--meant 3 years, which sent me on this mission in the first place. Would it be possible to make both the badges and their meanings more well-known? I for one don't normally come to Administrivia and Technical Support (although perhaps I should); there are already so many forums and/or threads that I follow.

Thanks very much!

gentle hugs (if wanted),

I've never really been happy with the not ready to stop one, but in the five or so years since I made the first versions, I've never come up with anything better

Open to ideas if anyone has any!

I can change the colours with a few clicks. Let me know what you'd prefer!

Sorry, Chey!
