Coping With My Feelings Afterwords

Post by IcePh0enix » Fri Nov 07, 2008 3:15 am

Ok, this is my first post and I wasn't completely sure whether or not to post in here or bodies under siege. I've been dealing with anger by cutting and punching myself for a while and I want to try to stop. Earlier today I got really angry (the reason isn't all that important). I started throwing stuff, and punching myself, but I held back the urge and I didn't cut. I posted about it on another website and was recommended this site. I'm not quite as angry right now, but I feel really fidgety. I keep biting my nails and scratching myself and I feel like I can't sit still and relax. Can you guys please give me some tips to calm my nerves?

That list has some really helpful stuff, thanks. I feel better now and I'm finally able to sit still. I think #81-164 will help me. And thanks for the cow :).
