Even though it was late, I made a serious effort to get my lab done, and got most of it in..

Even though I don't understand too much.

"Why are you so negative?"
"Because I'm unhappy."
"And whose fault is that?"

I've lost weight
I am taking care of myself.
"I saw spiders where there were no spiders" - patti smith
"'My hands', she said, 'I've left them somewhere and now I can't find them.' She was holding her hands in the air, helplessly, as if she couldn't move them.
'They're right there', I said, 'On the end of your arms'
'No, no', she said impatiently, 'Not those , those are no good anymore. My other hands, the ones I had before, the ones I could touch things with.'" - margaret atwood

I coped well with putting my cat down.
Yay me for not thinking about triggers.

Even though it's not too much, I did make -some- progress on my CWS paper that I need a first draft by tuesday for. I at least have three semi paragraphs instead of just nothing.

Today I got up at 6:30, made everyone breakfast, had clean towels and work uniform ready for DH, and used written notes to confront kids on minor rule infractions. No fighting or yelling, and everyone was fed, dressed, and out to work and school on time. Then I spent the day researching online how to fix my marriage and heal myself, joined BUS, and wrote a post that ended with a positive affirmation.

It's hard--but good--to feel proud. Thanks for this thread.

this is really yesterday:
i used coping mechanisms, held onto hope, instead of doing something harmful.
