I thought I would create a thread that lets everyone know that not all newbies are really newbies and if you send a pm and don't get an answer you can know why.

I will start it off with the newest member coundjumper.
Not a newbie. Was having troubles with old account.

Probably a silly question, I'm only a learner to computers. But what does spammers mean exactly,

Spammer is someone who's sole purpose is to advertise something.
Just like spam in your email, it just wants your attention and money or some other type of involvement.

General noticable by websites in profiles (to non personal sites). Or names such as 'freecompgear' or something daft like that.
