Perhaps a stupid question...
I just wonder what does 'hidden' in the statistics of online users means. If they are not 'registered', neither 'guests' who are they and why are they hiding? Can they read all our posts? I feel somehow insecure with this word there... Or perhaps this is just a stupid question revealing my lack of forum experience...

Pretty muich what it means to be hidden is that you ARE a registered member of this forum, and abl eto see the posts, but you don't show up on the "who is online" list that is accessible to anyone, registered or not.
Don't worry about it, since those who are not registered (i.e., those who have membership) cannot see your posts on the forum. THey have to register in order to do so.

But as far as who we are and why we hide...
I switched to hidden when I was an admin, because I would be on for long stretches of time doing various "behind the scenes" things, and sometimes I didn't want people to think i was available to talk to them when I was working on something else. So I went hidden so people wouldn't be upset if I was there, but not really available to talk. Now that I am not an admin, I am just hidden because I have been too lazy to go change it.
But as far as who we are and why we hide...
