Caring for something virtual.

Post by Chaocontrol6 » Fri Feb 15, 2008 8:24 am

After that Wii post I've got another way of coping regarding that (almost)

Basically I've got Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for the Nintendo Gamecube (which I can play on the Wii) and there is a chao garden (originally where I got my username from) and after you complete levels, the animals and other items you collect in levels you can use to help grow these little blue creatures called chao. You can feed them, play with them, let them take part in races and so on.

What I'm saying is that when I feel I can't seem to help or care for anyone, I go on this and look after the chao, everytime I feed them they have a love heart over their head, and when they win races, they are so happy :)

Just what I've found out, so if you're a Sonic fan, DO THIS :D

That actually is a really good idea... I have Nintendogs for Nintendo DS and I use it as a distraction from bad feelings and urges.

Also for the DS, I got this game Lost in Blue where two main characters are trying to survive on an island after a shipwreck. It's surprisingly fun and comforting to virtually struggle to survive on the island, advance the plot, explore, and keep your belly full. Something as simple as making a fire on that game makes me smile and feel important and anything but worthless and helpless.

*That turned out much longer than I intended. XD

Plants...yup, plants. Don't have a garden, but some pot plants to be watered and rotated in the sunlight, damn fine. :)
