deleting and deactivating your account?

Deactivating your account means that you no longer have access to that account but you still have the opportunity to come back if you so choose. All you have to do is email an admin and they can reverse the deactivation

If you have your account deleted, the account no longer exists but the posts for the deleted user still exist. Deletion is irreversible so if you choose to return you would have to start from scratch.
