I've just been cutting strips of paper with reasonably blunt scissors and im finding that really getting rid of urges. Dunno why but when youve done a fair bit you look at them and its wierd thinking that it would have been on your skin.
Thought i'd share it with you all, but i dont reccomend sharp scissors, or to do it at all if scissors make you urgy.

Yea, I have random knitting projects that I don't want to finish and I've found that, in the heat of the moment, taking my tool to those instead of me is a better thing to do and a "oh my gosh...my poor skin" sort of thing.
My apologizes in advance if the above post makes no sense. I do that a lot.
