i am getting a lot of work done, even though i didn't
"feel like it" when i got up. i was highly emotional
and could have gotten more upset/depressed as
the day went on. but i made choices that supported
my wellness. i'm still trying.

I'm proud of myself because I'm officially 30 Days SI-Free (with the exception of two minor slips), which is the longest I've ever done. I'm proud that I got my schoolwork done in class, and that I'm determined to change my life around.

I got a good mark on the one science assignment I've managed to get in this semester.

I got up on stage today dressed like a complete whore for my part in a school play (which really isn't that good) and I wasn't scared, or embarrassed. I just did it.

I'm proud for once in my life I am starting to understand through therapy, that maybe I'm not to blame for all the abuse, and it's the abuser's fault...

Because I turned in my paper for school today, and because I'm starting to get a little better at letting people in.

I finished my physics. [mind you.. last two problems were during lunch and RIGHT before class but.. they were still finished]

I spent the day being a lot more positive than previously... and it's noticable which.. I like.

I started the rehearsal on time and finished on time and didn't get impatient with anyone.
...then one day I realised that the people you see in waiting rooms and car parks and on trains are really far more interesting. That they all have whole novels inside them, a fabric of scar tissues, photos and memories. They are comedies and tragedies and - more often - both at the same time.
