5 senses

i dunno if anyone knew this.

but its something i got taught earlier on in the week.

anyways whenever emotions are running high.
you feel like your going to slip or something like that do something to occupy your 5 senses.

taste - find your favourite food and have some, even if its a small portion
sound - listen to music whatever you like. as loud as you need for it to calm you down
sight - look at a photo album, or read a book. or something of the sorts. go watch birds. whatever
touch - have a bath. moisturise yourbody. massage your feet.
smell - light incesene, burn a candle. find your favourite smell and well... smell it.

im sorry if you already knew this.
or it doesn make sense.

i just thought i would share.

That's a good idea. I imagine it would work well for when feeling dissociated/ out of it.

Also, when you're in an emotional crisis, the first things to fix are:

Cold (warm up)
Hunger (eat something)
Anger (try to calm down - breathe)
Loneliness (call someone, find someone to listen or be with you)
Tiredness (make sure you get some sleep, or rest if you can't sleep)
