I feel angry, sad and anxious. I'm having a shit day and I really don't need my mother's current idea of "help". She used to be so supportive but now I can't even just talk to her, she just gets angry and gives me her patronising self-help talk. It makes me feel like I'm not trying hard enough.

More than anything at the moment I just want someone to listen to me and to understand me. Why can't she just acknowledge that I'm doing all I can?
