spider solitaire game

Post by rainbow_rally » Sun Jun 03, 2007 9:39 am

i thought this might be a good game if your bored or need a distraction.

instead of dealing out one row of cards, deal out the whole pack and play the game! its quite hard and im only on the black cards, the easiest setting.

let me know how you get on :) :star:

Dealing out everything at once makes it really hard/impossible for me.

If I want a distraction, I like playing this on the middle setting (with red & black, just 2 suits) but playing so that I get them out in patterns. So for instance the first game I'll try to alternate red and black, then the next I'll go for black then red, then try and get two of each colour together, etc. It made it more fun than just trying to get it out ;)

^^ i do the same thing Mallie... i guess it's my slightly autistic side that makes me stop a game if there's no possible systeme in the way they come out... probably sounds crazy... but it's nice... very satisfying...

i  spider solitaire. it's such an excellent distraction (and all-around time-waster).
there is, in the end, the letting go.

I used to really like this game and it was a great distraction. but i get really frustrated with games really easily. If i feel like the game isn't going very well i start over and over and over. Another game i like is minesweeper when it is on the expert level.

I've never played this before, but it's great. *Really* hard though :-?

I remember Mum playing spider with real cards on the living room floor when I was little :)

I'm getting better - I can win the odd game with just two suits now.

It's hard, which is why its such a good distraction - I have to actually think about it!

it's like regular solitaire, except you have to match the cards with the suits.
there is, in the end, the letting go.
