i've been trying to post on someone's place and i keep getting this message:
not on BUS so much anymore- i do check PMs
Re: trouble posting
Are you set to be logged in all the time, or just for the session (aka time) that you're on BUS?b3autifu2l37 wrote:i've been trying to post on someone's place and i keep getting this message:i've never gotten this before. i tried going back to the index, then going to watched topics and trying it over and over. i still get the same message. what's up?Invalid Session. Hi b3autifu2l37 is still having trouble posting and wanted me to post this for her, I hope it gets resolved quickly.
I am still not able to post at all- not even to this thread. i am still getting that same invalid session message or whatever. i am logged in. i am set to be remembered, but sometimes it randomly asks me to log in. i've never had this problem before and haven't been able to post for two days. it's getting irritating. if anyone at all can help me, please PM me because even if you reply to this thread, i can't answer back. thank you (especially to you LadyP).

if anyone can tell me how this can be prevented or what happened, i'm curious to know.
(it took me a couple of tries to reply to this thread.. sometimes it gets testy still and won't let me post.)

i went away for a week, came back, and it's still giving me problems. i'm still getting the same message and i'm still having trouble posting. the only way to post my message is to click submit a few times until it accepts it.
can ANYONE give me a reason for this or tell me how to fix it?

deb, i've had the same problem off and on recently (two or three times, each lasting a couple of days, over the last couple of weeks). I've tried logging out and back in each time, but it doesn't make a difference - still kept getting the invalid session form.
so i'd love to hear about any magical fixes or suggestions, too!
thanks.

a couple of things: are you trying to use a web anonymizer? if you are (and you're not getting blocked, because we block a lot of them), it could be causing this error.
apparently, aol users can get it randomly as well.
i'm going to see how many people have goten this error message recently.

one other thing to try -- if the url says http://blablah.php?sid=(string of numbers) or ends with &sid=(string of numbers), try deleting the &sid=(numbers) or ?sid=(numbers) from the url.

i'm not sure what a web anonymizer is, so i can't be sure i'm not using one, but i don't think that i am. also not using aol.
i'll try checking for and/or erasing numbers if it happens again.
thanks!
