My 10 Distractions

not in order

1) write in my journal
2) listening to relaxationing tapes
3) posting or reading on the bus
4) going for a walk
5) drawing or coloring
6) watching funny movies
7) doing my craft book
8) listen to my favorite music
9) playing games on the computer
10) working with my stuff in my coping box
I am in a dark place like a turtle afraid to deal with the pain that I do not want to feel,but eventually I will slowly face my pain,like the turtle when he comes out of his shell.

To find yourself,think of yourself first.

I'll post. Here's my top 10 in no particular order.

1.) Run. A lot.
2.) Pray/Read the Bible
3.) Cut something else (paper, etc)
4.) Draw on myself with a red magic marker
5.) Drive down the road with my music blasting
6.) Take a nice long hot shower with some really good smelling body wash
7.) Play racquetball
8.) Get on facebook/myspace & mess around
9.) Go over to a friend's/get a friend to come over to my dorm
10.) Read old writing, journals, etc from awhile back

2) talking to the kind voices in my head
3) visit bus
4) draw
5) go for walks/explore nature
6) talk to my family
7) plan a calm evening just for me...and then do it
8) make things--crafts and stuff
9) music (play or listen to)
10) draw on myself with marker

1. look for cute pictures on the internet
2. post in my place thread or write in my paper journal
3.draw and color
4.play with play doh
5.listen to music
6. watch a disney movie or any comedy movie i like
7. do collages
8.pm or email anyone
9.post in my coping space
10. write poetry

-going on walks (with other people is best)
-music
-getting other people around me (not being alone)
-going outside
-taking pictures
-calling/texting c
-smoking (I need to stop, but it calms me down and makes me less urgy.)
