hey im new to this...
quite simply i cant move one... its really annoying, i've had a pretty bad past and i cant get everything out of my mind...
most of my experiences are trumatic, and they are the fuel of my cutting and the likes...
it started off small but now i really worry myself.
i dont really know what im capable of.
i try to move on but i cant, i cant leave my memories for some reason... i feel if i can move on i will be able to stop everything, but i dont know how to.
any suggestions?
moving on...

welcome to bus, & specifically the coping forum
I dont think you can just move on from something because you decide you should.
I think a lot of it as to happen naturally, with new experiences that replace old ones on which you base your thoughts, and ultimately your moods & opinions of yourself & the world.
I guess, you have to look at each thing separately, and just.. decide what it means for you. Try to work out why it's still impacting on your present. What things in the present that you do/ would like to do, are difficult because of the past?
Some things you can maybe lay to rest symbolically. Tell yourself this one thing is going to be something that happened to you in the past, and just let it be. Let it exist, don't deny it, but realise that you can change, and you have changed since it happened, and you've learnt from it, and even though it was traumatic, it doesn't still have to be.
If we knew each other's secrets, what comforts we should find.

Sorry your going through a difficult time but I hope you can find the support you need here.
Do you see a counsellor or anyone to talk about your past experiences and self-harm? It might be helpful, if you don't already.
As you've identified, once you've dealt with those feelings about your past, the self-harm might get easier to stop.
Take care
