Dont panic card (an idea)

Post by angelic212 » Mon Oct 09, 2006 3:17 am

i found this idea on another message board i go to i thought it was a good idea so i thought i share it with you all:
its called (dont panic card)

1. breath - take slow deep breaths.
- count your breaths.

2. am i in ammediate danger?

3. is there anything i can do about it?

4. whats the worst case senario?
-did the worst case senario happen last time?

5. what would i do in the worst case senario?.......MAKE A PLAN....how would i deal with it, where is the exit etc.

6. am i being realistic about this situation?

7. am i helping the situation by worrying about it?

8. is there anything i can do about it?

9. is it actually MY problem?

calm down, chill out. its never as bad as it seems!

you can make cards with these questions and keep them in your wallet/ purse or bag

Very good idea. I already made a card with the other post about panic attacks... It was something like, the ten things to do when you have a panic attack... I will definitely print this out onto a card... Thanks.

this could have really helped me last night!!
Sounds like a very good idea. I'll definitely print it off and give it a go
...then one day I realised that the people you see in waiting rooms and car parks and on trains are really far more interesting. That they all have whole novels inside them, a fabric of scar tissues, photos and memories. They are comedies and tragedies and - more often - both at the same time.
