I thought I'd share this cause it's working for me

I've glued my only remaining tool to my bedside table, I can look, touch, but I can't pick it up. It works remarkably well and I guessed that an idea that works is and idea worth sharing.

that's a good idea, but it might be hard to get the tool off in the future, if, say, you are moving or giving the furniture away or something like that.

also, it can damage furniture to do things like that.

Somewhat related I felt the need to keep a tool with me at all times the first few months that I stopped cutting, like I needed to know that I could do it if I wanted to, but I didn't because I had decided not to. Odd but it was comforting for awhile then I felt like I didn't need it anymore.

Your idea is a good one, as long as there is no easy way to remove it.

Mine can be brought off with warm water, the furniture should be fine. But dont stick anything to something you actually like cause as mercy said it could ruin it.
