anyone good at unix shell scripting?

i can figure out how to write the script i need (to make admins able to take away posting access if we get more evil pr0n spammers), but if anyone just happens to be decent at writing scripts (bash, tcsh, any shell, really) and is willing to work on a small project that really shouldn't take long, let me know. you'd be saving my husband from pleading glamces.

(he can write them, but i try not to ask too often)

Frequently. My preference is for side to side but I can do backwards and forwards if forced.
