quote not working right
i go to quote someone, and their name isn't in quotations so the quote doesn't work. someone just quoted me and same thing.
i even manually edited my post to include the quotations and it still came up wanky. so i had to remove the op's name to make it work.
wassup?

Tis a puzzlement
It woudl appear that, even with editing and such, that the quote function is not working at it's optimum level.
Could it be rebeling against the heat?
I tried a few things to no avail.
It is now time for the techy folks , or even Deb to assertain where the problem lies and tell the problem to go away

This wouldn't fix the problem of being able to include the name of the person being quoted, but using the code for colors on the material being quoted might work until we can get the ability to quote properly back again.
To use colors, type: text you want to be colored
So what I wrote above would look like this if I typed in my color as blue: text you want to be colored

It's also sometimes, but not always, showing a typed or B as a square. I've noticed that in a couple of my posts and one of mian's... And no, it doesn't show quotation marks. there were 4 of them in that sentence, around the 's.

i think the problem may have been caused by some changes i made the other day -- html spaces ( ) were not working properly.
i'll check into it tonight.

i'm about to put in a temporary fix -- it will re-enable quotes but nbsp will go back to not working.
