I like mine because hugs are very special to me and I also like polar bears. I live in Canada, and there are alot of polar bears in Canada and that is cool.

WHEN I LOOK IN A MIRROR, MY REFLECTION SLOWLY SHAKES HIS HEAD WHILE I WET MYSELF IN SHAME."

i've always had an obession with butterflies
But the struggles make you stronger
And the changes make you wise
And happiness has its own way of takin it's sweet time
No, life aint always beautiful
Tears will fall sometimes
Life aint always beautiful

Actually I considered the pawprint, the two-cat poster by Steinlein, a vaguely asian picture of what looks like bamboo growing vertically, and one of the modern multi-colored spiral images.
Then I found the sunflower.
For the 20 years before I moved into the country, the old man who lived next door to me was a constant hassle. He hated kids playing ball in front of his house. He hated the squirrels for eating his pecans. He hated block parties with music and loud talk. He hated everything.
He also had a scrupulously maintained yard, and hated the fact that I didn't cut my lawn but maybe once a month. And under the bird feeder hanging in my front yard... were sunflowers that had sprouted from the dropped seeds.
Lord, he hated those "weeds" with a passion. He even reported me as a public health hazard, citing the fact that lawns aren't supposed to be over 6" in height. Each and every time an inspector came out to check the situation, I referred to them as wildflowers, and the matter was settled.
By the time I decided to move to the country, specifically to get away from nutcases like him, those sunflowers were head-high and still going strong. So to this day, whenever I see a sunflower standing tall, I get a smile on my face, remembering how he hated them. The sunflower, a weed to some, a thing of beauty to me.

I'm a mess, I'm a wreck. I am not perfect, and I am learning
to accept all my problems and short comings.
You're looking skinny like a model
With your eyes all painted black
Keep going to the bathroom
Always say you'll be right back
Well, it takes one to know one, kid
I think you've got it bad
But what's so easy in the evening
By the morning's such a drag

Mine is a Stellaria media flower, to go with my username. It has a kind of symbolism to me, because it's a soft weed that is easy to uproot, but it tends to grow back time and time again. Reminds me to keep trying.
Challenges, hugs, and just about everything welcome.

Well...
Whenever I saw people's avatars, I always used to somewhat imagine them as looking like the person (if it was a person) that was in the avatar. And I know other people do this. So, I thought Id make it easier for people with me and put mine as a picture of me. Cept...I dont really look like that anymore... Must update!

The wind and I, we speak the same, but he don’t hear so well.
Well, you’re gonna have to curse him, well you’re gonna have to yell.
The sky and I, we’ve had our fights and I’m coming round to rain,
Well, if the rain come round and it don’t come out, then I’ll never have to speak again,
I can tick tick tick tick tick tick tick away.
If Heaven is as Heaven does then this is Hell for sure...
