Post by Nazgul » Fri Apr 07, 2006 1:22 am

Hi I want to log on onto a different computer so I can print some of the stuff I've posted (I typically use my laptop) . . . problem is I've been logged onto my screenname for months now and I don't remember my password. Help?

Hi,

Passwords are encrypted in a database and there is no way anyone can tell you what it is.

The only thing you can do is to go to your profile and change your password.

Take care, Keith

You can't change your password without first putting in your current password.

The only way I can think of is an admin can change your password and email you the new one, you can then change it to something you'll remember. I'd be happy to do that for you, unless someone who knows more than me can do it a better way.

I think at the login screen there's an option for it to email you the password, or maybe to email you a new password, not certain. As long as you have access to the email account you registered with.

Failing that, like Pretty said, an admin can manually reset your password for you.

Yeah, I'm scared to logout since I don't have the password to log back in.

Could I ask a favor and get an admin to manually reset it for me? My email is the same that I registered with.

Thanks,

Nazgul
