BUS mailing list?

A few years ago, I was on the mailing list...where all posts were emailed directly to my email address...how do I get back on that? When I was searching for that, I found this board...but I really liked the mailing list better, people replied faster...and there was more activitiy...

how long until i start getting emails?

I think it should send you an email to confirm who you are, and once that is done I think you'll get things straight away (or when the next person sends something through). I'm not 100% sure though. Maybe try sending through a test email if it doesn't start happening soon?

I did that form several hours ago, when I first came onto this board...but nothing yet, cept an email that says:

"The results of your email command are provided below. Attached is your
original message.

- Results:
Ignoring non-text/plain MIME parts
Your request has been forwarded to the list moderator for approval.

- Done."


What is the email addy that you send things through to?

I don't know how the list works nowadays, but the reply you got suggests that a moderator have to approve your application before you are fully "joined".
This could take from a few hours to a few days, depending on how busy they are, I suppose.

I've been getting a few messages from the mailing list...but I've tried to send in two posts, and I don't think they went through...

I don't remember it being this difficult before! hehe
