Home made colouring book

Post by pointeless » Fri Aug 05, 2005 10:17 am

Just thought I'd pop this in here... it's been mentioned on various coping lists on various sites that colouring can be a good distraction and I myself enjoy it alot, but felt a bit like - I don't know, weird colouirng in childrens colouring books, like I was going backwards, and like what I was doing had no relevance to what I was trying to feel...
So anyway I put some photos in photo deluxe and turned them into black and white, and then outlines. I printed the outlines off, i'm sticking them into a large book and using them as a colouring book. Photos of happier times, me and my friends at my 18th birthday party, a nice image of my ''sis'' and her man, afew of my other friends, family, nice scenery in places i've been too ... so it has some relevance and meaning to me, of trying to be happy, and remembering what I have when i'm low etc..
anyway just thought i'd put that as a suggestion just incase somebody else should find it worth a try...
:tongue: xx

you don't know why they had to go this far,
traded your worth for these scars
for your only company..
don't believe the lies that they told to you,
not one word was true;
you're alright
