Looking forward to...

Post by Tamrick » Sun Jul 17, 2005 5:33 pm

I think part of the problem about depression and SI is that many people don't have anything to look forward to, so I thought it might be nice to have a post where people could write down what they were looking forward to and when it should occur, then later you could say how it turned out.

Here's what I am looking forward to right now:

1. getting books I ordered over the net (should arrive in a month)
2. finishing Harry Potter (in a day or so)
3. spring (a couple of months)
4. agility classes beginning with my dog (2 weeks)

Agility classes sound like fun!

umm...
1. Being able to play "Syrinx" (I'm trying to get that song down well before college starts... one month and two days left. I'm pretty sure I can get it down by then...)

2. Getting an email and/or phone call back from the councilor I saw through school (probably within the next week)

3. Regaining sensation in my chest (I had surgery earlier this year) (more all the time, but the process will be done in about one and a half years)

4. Finishing the Rolfing work so that my tension headaches, back pain, etc. will go away (probably within the next three months)

5. Petting my dog (a few hours at most)

Now that you've got me started, I could probably come up with more... but it was a lot harder than I thought to come up with those first few. Thanks for the idea :)
