Topic notification not working again

I just wanted to say i noticed the topic notification is not working.

Hi its me again, I am definatly not getting notifications in my email when there are responces to posts. I know this for sure because ive posted in games forums and then other members respond but i do not get an email saying someone has responded to that particular topic.

I have done many messages today in other forums as well so its not one particular folder. Also im getting emails from other people so i am sure its not my yahoo account.

Just thought i would bring this to the moderators attention. No worries though, im off to Florida for a week so its not super important, but its a nice feature that i like having the option of having.

yeah, i'm not getting them, either. it seems like this happens occasionally (and then it starts working again and i get overwhelmed by a backlog of them all coming at once!

Nah not working for me.

Well at least I just found a place I hadn't read for some days and I still had not got any notification. Unchecked the not-box to check it again. Hope it will work now but it's been problem with it for more than a week.

And I don't get any notifications when it's working again either. But usually it starts to work when I visit a thread I'm watching and I uncheck the box to check it again.

Very disturbing.

My yahoo account was filtering them out for a while, adding busboard@busmail.org to my address book seemed to help solve the problem on yahoo's end ..
I think that it's a feature that intermitantly stops working, but it does tend to come back.

the little icon at the top that lets you track watched topics is back now. you watch topics as usual, but instead of relying on email notification you use it to see what's up.

when you want to check on your watched topics, click the link with the little eyes --

it keeps a list of the topics you're watching and lets you manage them really easily. people loved this feature last time we had it working, just before the upgrade.
