How do I deal w/anger?

Post by VowsOfSadness » Wed Jun 08, 2005 12:32 am

Right now Im angrier than I have ever been in my life. I just i cant even talk without stutteing im so angry I cuss in everyline (I am trying to keep this clean) I am saying things that mean so much right now it scares me, I have been crying. The thing that made me angry happened at 7:30 this morning and I am still so unbelievably enraged about it (and im not even an angry person).

I talked to my one friend and he calmed me down a bit even made me smile (this was soem hours ago) and now he is busy and I just want to know how I am supposed to rationally deal with this anger?

coincidentally I have also been extremely enraged today. Earlier I was shaking, crying, swearing--everything. I managed to calm down by posting here, reading unrelated/mindless websites, listening to calming music while closing my eyes, and trying to do homework. I know a lot of that probably seems very contrived, but it worked. sort of. I am still angry, but not feeling so violent. I hope you feel better.

Yeah the anger seems to come in waves and I think its because I let it get to me and I start thinking about it then my thoughts go out of control

:( I'm sorry. Anger is not a fun emotion. Sometimes when I get really angry I tear up old catalogs or newspapers. That way I am being violent and destructive without actually hurting anything.
