Something good

tips on how to cope: dealing with your feelings, dealing with the consequences of self-harm in your life. share your ideas and maybe pick up some new skills, too. you don't have to want to stop to learn something new here.

Something good

Post by lollypop » Wed Jun 01, 2005 10:51 pm

Received an email from a friend saying she's currently feeling low, but gettign through every day by thinking of something thats been good...
I find I write here when I feel bad, but forget to mention any of the good things, even though its these I probably need to have to look back on to get me through hte bad points.

So....thought would start a thread where people can write something good that happened to them recently, however big or small it may be (sorry if there already is one)

For me, yesterday evening was good. i was walking home with my bf and we stopped on a railway bridge for about half an hour to watch the trains going past and the airplanes flying over us (I live near an airport) He got so excited when each one past, just like you'd expect a little kid to and it really made me smile

Okay you might not understand this but here goes my "street gang" (thats a laugh all in its self) called "spankies" just iniated teh coolest person in the world (Messy Spank ((her name is Messy for Melissa and all names must have Spank in them)) ) and we were making fun of this local gang at our school called the "PG1 3ed" because I couldn't get their name right and I kept saying "PG 13?" and so we now have a new saying (along with "NO YOU PUT YOUR PANTS ON which is randomly said even though everyone may have their pants on) and the new saying is: "YOUR MOMMA HAS TO PAY FOR YOUUUUUU! $8" Lmao

I told teh funniest story that I made up on the spot about "The Box Man" who can't afford anything except a truck full of boxes and he has a cell-phone but he has no service and YOUR MOMMA HAS TO PAY FOR YOU....lol im sorry i'll stop now.

wow. I was depressed and that cheered me up!

my bf rearranged all his computer stuff in our lounge so I can now walk around it without falling over any wires and I can see most of the surfaces and floors :D

Great post!

I was sad yesterday, and someone who loves me just held me for an hour while I feel apart. She's like a mother to me (I never had a real mom), and I have never felt so safe or warm in my whole life. It was beautiful.

Also--all the halloween stuff coming out. I LOVE Halloween!!!
