Another signature question

Okay, so my board theme is set as subSilver. I want to change it to something else, but when I do it says that my signature is too long. My signature works just fine with the subSilver one so I know it's not too long. Can someone help me keep my signature but change my board theme?

**edit** This is a problem when I try to change the time in my profile as well.

Yes I had the same thing happen to me. (hence no pic in my sig). The problem is the size of the images in the sig and the number of lines that are allowed were changed. It's fine and dandy and you're "allowed" to keep it until you try to change your profile...then it "catches" you..

Happened to me too after the time change. I'd been using the same sig for 3 years, and suddenly got "yelled at" and had to change it. Grr.

try using <br> instead of hitting the enter key. i'll increase the number of lines as well.

Argh. I went to change themes and got "yelled at" for using forbidden BB codes ([color]) when I wasn't even messing with my signature. Makes me want to erase the f*cker completely and not even bother.

Kind of reminds me of some of the troubles I have on my home network...hubby is a sysadmin, and has the security set incredibly tight. I have to reset my password every 14 days, and when I try to do that, it isn't long enough. If I make it longer, I get yelled at to make it alpha-numeric. Once I've done that, I have to mix in some random caps, and most of the time I choose passwords that are too "easy" and can't use those..and on and on and on...changing my password is generally a 30 minute ordeal. Heh.

I tried using the <br> and it didn't work.

It said that I have 3 images but the maximum allowed is two.

since it's file size more than number of images, i've set it to an unlimited number ofimages but a total size of 8k. i've also made sure it allows bbcode and html, including size and color.
