hmmm.... id say its the second best, but definitly one to concider if you can afford it :P


learning to play guitar started as just an attempt to please my parents and has turned into one of the few things i love doing, so yea,

*hands over the money :P

Hmmm yes i agree i think ...i play musical instruments (hence doing music course at uni lol) ..and well ..ive played them for so long and got bored of practising ..so sometimes idont want to practise ..which isnt good cus i supposed to and want to ..and then i get angry etc ..and leads to other things :| ...but i do see ur point ..it does work ..especially if ur playing is for fun n stuff :)

Maybe. But I find when I practice piano/violin that I sometimes get even angrier at myself for not being able to express through my music. Stupid, yes I know, but you know what that can lead to...

i agree! i play keyboard/piano, violin, and the drums! the drums are such a good instrument as long as you don't abuse them when you get in a si mood. they're really good for playing your tensions away, plus you have to multitask so there's not much room to think about anything other than the three differen't beats you have to play at the same time. :D

i find the piano really really good...gets rid of a lot of tension. and it's giving me a high school credit, since i'm taking a piano exam this year. so it's productive AND it helps. what better than to have a coping strategy like that? and one that i spend 1 to 2 hours on every day anyways?

the other really good strategy for me is yoga...you'd think that standing on my head would make me feel nauseous or sore or something, but i feel incredible after spending time upside down.
